Body
- The head is prominent and pre-eminent
- The body is inseparably united to the head for direction
- The body is interdependently united to carry out the direction of the Head
2. Branches
- The life is in the Vine
- Pruning is essential for best productivity
- Vine wood is only good for producing fruit
3. Flock
- Sheep need shepherding
- Jesus is the Chief Shepherd but has delegated authority of local flocks to
Undershepherds
- Undershepherds are expected to provide full and special care to the flock
4. Priesthood
- Israel is not the Church
- Priests are chosen, appointed representatives
- Having access to God, priests must function appropriately
5. Building
- Believers are the 'building materials', the living stones, of the Temple
- God arranges the materials in His building
- God not only lives in the individual 'stones', but also in the constructed building
6. Bride
- The emphasis is on the great love of the Groom
- Because of that love, the bride is changed and exalted
- The consummation of the marriage is yet future
